Sun Salutations with Jes
The practice of 108 Sun Salutations is a traditional yogic ritual often used to honor seasonal transitions, solstices, equinoxes, and other meaningful moments of change.
In yoga, the number 108 is considered sacred and symbolic. It appears throughout yogic philosophy, meditation, astronomy, and spiritual traditions. Moving through 108 rounds creates a powerful moving meditation, inviting us to connect breath with movement, quiet the mind, and meet ourselves with patience, strength, and intention.
This practice is not about perfection or pushing through discomfort. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace, rest when needed, modify, or pause at any time. The experience will be about one hour long, with space afterward to enjoy tea, connect, and commune together as we welcome the new season.
