Jan brings over 20 years of teaching experience, offering a gentle and therapeutic approach to yoga that honors each individual’s body, pace, and path. Her classes are rooted in care, awareness, and a deep understanding of healing—creating a space where students feel supported, safe, and truly seen.

She specializes in Gentle Therapeutic Yoga, a nurturing practice designed for all levels, including beginners, seniors, those with physical limitations, and individuals recovering from illness or injury. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and supported postures, Jan helps students improve flexibility, mobility, and strength in a calm and compassionate environment.

Jan also offers Yoga for Strong Bones, a class focused on improving bone health, posture, and balance. This practice is especially supportive for those with osteopenia or osteoporosis, as well as anyone looking to build strength and stability for long-term wellness.

With a background in biology and advanced studies in immunology from the University of London, Jan brings a unique, science-informed perspective to her teaching. Her training also includes restorative yoga, Ayurveda, reflexology, Reiki, and other holistic modalities, allowing her to approach each student with both knowledge and intuition.

Throughout her career, Jan has taught in studios and wellness settings across the community and has worked closely with senior populations and individuals navigating health challenges. She has also supported organizations such as Gilda’s Club and Kula for Karma, reflecting her heart for service and healing.

Her teaching style is attentive and personalized, creating a peaceful environment where students can reconnect with their bodies and move forward with confidence and care.
